New master’s degree offered in fall 2009
Lipscomb University’s Institute of Sustainable Practice announces the debut of the new Master’s of Science in Sustainability, offering graduate-level courses in specialties such as food and nutrition, building design, site design and landscape and energy. The new program will begin offering courses in the fall semester 2009. More….

New parking garage brought Easy Pass and bus stop with it
A new parking garage of 300 spaces will open in just weeks, but along with the garage Lipscomb also added a covered bus stop and participation in the Metro Transportation Department’s Easy Pass program, allowing students, faculty and staff (anyone with a Lipscomb I.D.) to ride the bus for free, using their campus I.D. card.

Christmas 2008 on the Lipscomb campus was a little more green than red this year, as the university debuted power-saving LED lights at the annual Lighting of the Green on Dec. 2.
